Yes, Barbara dare was one of a kind! I recall reading the Jerry butler autobiography (‘Raw Talent’) when Jerry complains about the actresses he worked with (he dealt out a few compliments, to Nina Hartley, Rhonda Jo Petty, a couple others maybe. But it’s the insults I seem to remember better). Anyway, butler tries to give Barbara Dare a bit of a backhanded compliment, but it just sorta fizzled on the page. He said something like, “Barbara Dare’s body was almost too perfect, like marble”. I agree that She had a great body…I just couldn’t be bothered - then or now - to try to think up negative things to say about her, but I agree she’s pretty close to perfect! (He also said that Kimberley Carson had a stanky puss, but I digress. Think he said something similar about Lois Ayers, but that was not firsthand, he said that he’d heard that Lois had some problems but n sets because of “feminine odor”, but he probably should’ve left that out of the book 😂).
